New York, NY (October 11, 2007) - Net@Work, a leading provider of integrated business technology solutions, today announced that it was honored as "Business of the Year" by Project Ezrah, a non-profit organization that provides critical support to families across Bergen County (NJ) by helping alleviate the stress of unemployment with personalized job search assistance, financial support and counseling services. Project EZRAH's Third Annual Dinner will be held on October 27 to celebrate and recognize organizations in the Tri-State area that have played critical roles in assisting unemployed Bergen County residents find jobs. Project EZRAH inaugurated the "Business of the Year" in 2007: Net@Work is its first honoree. Over the past several years, Net@Work has filled a number of key positions with "home-grown" Bergen talent, in addition to helping others in the community prepare for gainful employment.
"We've been active members of Project EZRAH from its inception six years ago, and remain committed to its core goals," said Alex Solomon, who, along with brother Edward, co-founded Net@Work. "During this time we've come to appreciate just how deep the talent pool across Bergen County is and we've been fortunate to be in the position to hire a good many local residents who play critical roles in our organization. As we continue to grow, our support for Project EZRAH and the citizens of Bergen County will grow accordingly. While we're truly honored to be receiving this award, we'd like to applaud all the businesses that have joined us over the years in supporting Project EZRAH and the residents of Bergen County."
"So many businesses have joined with us to help members of our communities," said Rabbi Yossie Stern, Executive Director of Bergen County's Project EZRAH. "Our annual dinner affords us the opportunity to show our appreciation and highlight in what respects community-involved companies and businesses have partnered with us. We have been lucky that so many of our local establishments have always been available to help us. But Net@Work's Alex and Ed Solomon have been with us from Day one. They have become a true partner in finding employment for our candidates and helping us place them in appropriate positions."
About Project EZRAH
Project EZRAH was founded in the fall of 2001 in response to the growing crisis of unemployment in the Teaneck community. The original concern was to help unemployed members of the community maintain and pay for their health insurance. As word spread, the founders of Project EZRAH were able to tap into the goodwill and sensitivity of members of the community with networking and job referrals.
