Pleasanton, Calif (December 04, 2004) - Accpac, a provider of business
management applications to small and midsized businesses, has unveiled
Version 5.3 of its Accpac Advantage series accounting system -- an update
highlighted by new features including transactional analysis, tighter
security options and an enhanced order-entry module.
Accpac, a Best Software company based here, said that all editions of
its Advantage series, including Enterprise, Corporate and Small Business,
are being upgraded to Version 5.3.
The Advantage series' 5.3 transaction analysis feature enables users to
codify all transactions, and have these tags remain with the transaction
forever, providing detail analysis capability beyond basic financial reporting.
Upgraded security measures allow users to automatically sign into their
accounting system via their existing Microsoft Windows domain account,
thereby eliminating extra log-in procedures while maintaining secure and
seamless access to the system.
The Enterprise edition of 5.3 is available starting at $1,500 per module.
Corporate and Small Business editions will be available in November beginning
at $1,000 and $495 per module, respectively.
